Hi guys, I hope you are doing great?

I’m thinking to myself, how could we have spent two months in 2021 already? The year is going by fast. I thank God it’s been a great one for me so far and I hope it has been pleasant for you as well.

I thought about sharing this as an email newsletter but I decided to put it on the blog instead. I think it’ll be a better archive than our email inbox. I might switch things later but for now, I will be sharing it here while you also get a post notification via email.

So, what’s been happening in my life lately?

Work. Yeah, that’s right. I resumed my 9-5 work this year and it’s been quite busy. I thank God for the job but I also miss the free time I had last year. I know it’s about times and seasons so it’s all good. In light of my work mode, I’m still figuring out the best way to consistently share as I’d like. It’s either I procrastinate or I’m lazy when I’m less busy. I know I can do better and I will by God’s Grace. While I work on that, I also appreciate your prayers for strength. Thanks.

Life has been mostly great. I’m growing nicely in my faith and loving it. I got a new devotional called Foch Devotional by Rubie Targema-Takema. It’s been an amazing addition to my devotional resources. As with any resource I share or recommended, be sure to test all content against the Word of God.

Another highlight of my life lately is that I seem to be reading more (more like listening instead). There was a time I read many great books. However, I didn’t read much for the past year. So, I decided to try out listening to books instead and my reading culture has improved in a way.

At the moment, I’m using the Scribd mobile app to listen to two books. I hope to finish them. You can use my referral link to sign up on Scribd to read or listen to books for free for the first 60 days. (I also get 30 days free when you sign up so, thanks.) You’ll only be charged after then if you don’t cancel your subscription.

That’s enough life snippets for now. If you haven’t, subscribe to know when I post more on this.

Highlights on Colours & Flavours

I shared amazing posts in January and February. I thank God for the grace, strength and wisdom that He gave me. Here’s a highlight of the blog posts and podcasts published in the last two months.

On the blog:

→ Lessons from the book of Daniel – Part 1

→ Lessons from the book of Daniel – Part 2

→ This is the good news 🥳 – Free, saved and reconciled forever

→ Lessons from the book of Daniel – Part 3

On the podcast:

→ 6 areas to gain clarity before you commit to someone

→ How to control lustful thoughts while dating

→ 10 things to keep in mind as you read the Bible

→ The conversation on (no) kissing before marriage

As with any conversation, I looked forward to reading your thoughts on the kissing subject but you guys decided to be shy in the comment section. You can still share your thoughts now. Okay? Thanks.

Alright, that’s all for now. I look forward to the beautiful days of the rest of the year. Stay ready for all the amazing posts still to come and a big thank you for being here.

How’s the year going for you so far? Let me know in the comment section.

Cheers!
