âď¸You Don’t Have A Bad Life
It might be easier for you to remember the bad days, the sad moments, the lonely times, the times when serving felt so tiring, or when ministry felt difficult. But you can train yourself to focus on the good things and remember them more than the times when you were struggling.
Whenever you experience something beautiful or when you have something youâre grateful for, I encourage you to document it. You can keep a gratitude list where youâre writing at least one thing youâre grateful for each day. This way, no matter how youâre feeling, you have a record to show that things are actually good.
Youâd be able to tell yourself, âI might be having a bad day right now, but it doesnât mean that I have a bad life. It doesnât mean that I have a bad marriage. It doesnât mean that my walk with God is terrible. There are still good things which Iâm grateful for.â
So document the good things so that you can remember and be thankful in all circumstances.
