I strongly believe that every Christian should read the entire Bible and do it over and over again. It is essential to understanding what we believe and helps us grow in our relationship with God. I know it takes commitment to see it through, but reading the whole Bible is always rewarding. I shared more on why I believe it’s worth it in this post.
Recently, I began my third time reading the whole Bible, and I decided to try something different. Instead of using an existing plan in my Bible app, I created a custom Bible reading plan.
This time, I’m reading the Bible over two years and in chronological order. I want to understand how the events unfolded rather than read the books of the Bible in the traditional order they appear in the Canon. A 2-year plan also helps me read without feeling overwhelmed by having to complete a lot of chapters daily.
I created my 2-year Bible reading plan with biblereadingplangenerator.com and set up a page on Notion within My Faith Journal to track my progress. So far, I’m loving it. I either read my physical Bible or use my Bible app to read or listen. Then I take my study notes on Notion.
