As a Nigerian, the past few days of October have been a lot to take in. From a natural standpoint, it’s tempting to lose hope. But thankfully, we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Romans 8:31-39
I pray that we hold on to our faith in God so much more even in these times in Jesus’ Name. Amen

In the midst of everything, I encourage you to guard your heart. I know you may want to keep abreast what is happening but it is also important to have boundaries. Watch your words and thoughts, they should glorify God. James 3:9-10, Philippians 4:8

Let the love of Christ rule your heart. As children of God, we have His nature, too. Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:17-21 Even when it seems difficult, remember that God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. Philippians 2:13

As we keep praying, advocating and taking actions to birth a better Nigeria, know that God is for us. We can trust Him. Only His counsel stands concerning Nigeria in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I also encourage you to pray always, turn your worries to Him and His peace will fill your heart. Listening to Christian songs is another way that has helped calm my mind. You can listen to one of my playlists on Apple Music. I hope it helps you, too.

Again, guard your heart. God is for us so don’t lose hope.💛
