Say Hello To The New Colours & Flavours 😍
…A brand refresh and what I learnt about seasons
Happy December 🥳
It’s unbelievable that 2021 is almost over. In everything, I thank God – for you, for me and for everything.
However the year might have been, I pray that you finish the year strong. I pray that you know without a doubt how much God loves you and that He is with you through it all.💛
2021 has been amazing and I thank God for every part of it. You can read a bit about it in this post – My Journey to 25. I’m also grateful to God for how I’m feeling about the end of the year.
Unlike how I sometimes felt in the past at the end of a year, I’m not struggling with comparison or discontentment this time around. And that’s a win for me. I won’t be surprised if my reduced time on social media also contributed to this win. Whatever the reason, I thank God for this.
(By the way, I didn’t eventually do my 3-months social media break as I mentioned in my last newsletter. I’ve been on and off instead.🥲)
I’ll be happy to know how you are feeling about the year and especially towards the end of it.
One thing I want you to keep in mind is that God is still doing good. The rest of the year will be the best of the year for you. Believe it and trust Him.
Now to the big news!
Say hello to the new Colours & Flavours😍
When I started Colours & Flavours, I made the best use of what I had and decided to build as I go. It’s been over 4 years since I officially started this beautiful journey and many things have changed since then. Most likely, more things will change in the future but I’m grateful for this beautiful gift from God.
This year, I decided the refresh the brand identity of Colours & Flavours. We are growing and so, I wanted the brand to reflect who we are now – A Christian Lifestyle Brand.
I’ve had to remind myself that it’s okay not to have all the answers on our branding right now. It’s okay to reinvent the brand if needed in the future. But right now, for the goal I have to share my journey and help other young believers navigate faith, love & life, Colours & Flavours is beautiful.
After months of working on the brand refresh with a brilliant designer, my amazing fiancé and the ever-helpful Holy Spirit, I present to you the new Colours & Flavours.

Yes, we have a new logo, new brand colours, a new website design but the heart behind Colours & Flavours remains the same. Isn’t it lovely?
Take time to explore the website and kindly share it with your friends.
Thank you for taking this journey with me.
What I learnt about seasons
This year, I had many plans for Colours & Flavours – content plans, new resource guides and perhaps, a book. But a lot of that didn’t happen. Sometimes, I feel bad about it especially because I want to do it and I love it. However, my year went differently than I planned – in a good way.
I resumed my corporate work in January and got very involved in serving at my church. Although I had some free time in between, I chose to rest. Maybe I overdid it on the resting part and could have pushed myself to do more but it’s been a productive year.
I couldn’t do everything I wished to do but God put me to work in other ways. Now, I’m learning to be content with that. Being productive may look different in certain seasons and that’s okay as long as God is pleased.
As my Pastor defined, “success is being where God would have you be, doing what God would have you do.” Like me, keep this in mind as you review how you spent your year and plan for the one ahead.
Merry Merry Christmas!😁
Yes, it’s double merry as we enjoy the rest of the best of the year. Intentionally enjoy the season and excitedly look forward to 2022 – our best year yet with God on our side.
This brings me to the end of this newsletter.
I look forward to knowing how you are doing and feeling. I’ll also like to know your thoughts on the new Colours & Flavours brand identity.
Cheers!
