Why You Should Share The Gospel

Now that you are saved, you are responsible for getting others saved. No one has to perish because God has made eternal life available for everyone through Jesus Christ. The Gospel is good news to be shared. Tell everyone.

While your faith transforms your life, people cannot get saved by watching how you live. They must hear the message of the Gospel and believe in it to be saved. You must preach the Gospel, and do so urgently. Our time on this earth is limited, and sharing the Gospel with others is the best way to demonstrate your love for them.

Romans 10:14-15 says, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

You have now been sent. You may not know everything about the Christian Faith, but you know enough to be an evangelist. Share the testimony of how God saved you, and the message about Jesus that you heard and believed.

As you attend a good church and study your Bible, you will grow in your knowledge of God’s Word and be better equipped to answer people’s questions about the faith. In the meantime, be faithful with the Gospel you know while you grow.

I pray that you share this Good News with boldness, diligence, joy and urgency, as the Holy Spirit has empowered you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
